An Israeli born artist, is a diverse, multi talented design specialist
with many areas of expertise. Her portfolio include pieces from
acrylic painting to multi media graphic design.
Tepper’s most recent composition are painting, with bold color
and dramatic texture, that utilize a mixed media. They are a rich
combination of modern and traditionally ethnic influences.
Maya loves oils, acrylics and multi media graphics. She demonstrates
a sharp eye for color, often using a bold and eye catching palette,
yet she manages to dominate serenity and reflective imagery
in her work. Working on canvas or wood, Tepper manage to
reveal an intimate familiarity with Middle Eastern tribal art forms.
Her flagrant colors and photographic images exhibit a valiant and
fascinating use of creative combination. Tepper’s work evokes
an array of emotions and tempering, bringing together the past,
present and future. “I want people to see my work and feel free,
happy and simple; almost as if they can forget the world around
them and enjoy art for art’s sake” she says.
Tepper first acknowledged her love of art in 1983 at the young
age of 12. In order to sharpen her skills, she attended an art
institute in her hometown of Tel-Aviv. her first personal exhibit
was realized in 1989 at the age of 18. Shortly after, Tepper
worked as an Art Director of an advertising firm. Her expanse
of professional knowledge and background has stretched her
artistic powers to include catalog design, business design,
graphics and photography.
Tepper arrived in the united states in 2003.
She is currently working in the design and art field
where she continuing her talents in a creative, and exciting way.
She now resides in South FL.
