ABOUT MAYA

Maya Tepper is an Israeli-born artist and graphic designer based between Tel Aviv and Miami. At the heart of her work is a desire to bring joy and colour into the spaces we live in. Working across digital painting, acrylic, mixed media, epoxy resin and sculptural metalwork, she creates vibrant pieces that bring warmth, energy and a sense of playfulness to everyday surroundings.

Her connection to art began in childhood, when she started studying at an art institute in Tel Aviv. She held her first solo exhibition as a young artist and later worked as an art director in advertising. After moving to the United States, she continued developing her practice through art, design and experimentation with new materials.

Her work explores the relationship between ancient symbols and contemporary expression, creating connections between tradition and technology, image and object, past and present. From digital paintings printed on canvas in limited editions to resin creations and raised Hebrew words in metal, colour remains a constant thread throughout her work.

Drawing on childhood memories, symbolic forms and values such as love, kindness, faith and connection, she creates art that carries personal meaning while bringing a joyful presence into a room.
