In my work I seek to discover new ways to combine the history and ancient knowledge (shapes, symbols) into the contemporary modern world of technology we live in.

My inspiration comes from studying and examining the relationship between old and new materials. What gives me the most pleasure, is this opportunity to find the bridge through the past present and future and transpose it into my art. Something  that connects all of us as a one world.

My name is Maya Tepper. Currently based in Miami, Florida I am an Israeli born artist. My portfolio includes pieces of acrylic painting, multimedia graphic design to custom epoxy resin creations.

I first acknowledged my love for art in 1983 at the young age of 12. In order to sharpen my skills, I attended an art institute in my hometown of Tel-Aviv. My first personal exhibition was realized in 1989 at the age of 18. Shortly after, I started working as an Art Director for an advertising firm.

My most recent creations are paintings using bold colors and dramatic textures. They are a rich combination of modern and traditional ethnic influences. Often using a daring and eye catching palette I manage to dominate serenity and reflective imagery in my work.

I arrived in the United States in 2003. Since then I been working in the design and artistic fields incorporating custom work using new textures like epoxy resin in the most creative ways.

I invite you to take a look at my portfolio for a deeper understanding and visualization of my art.
